The end result is a rather relaxing game where players will skate/ski down slopes, perform tricks, collect coins, avoid obstacles, all the while completing missions to advance to the next level. The games are basically an endless runner kind of game, but instead of it being frantic like titles such as Temple Run, Alto’s Adventure and Odyssey seem to be a mix of an endless runner and games like Journey, where there is a lot of emphasis placed on the background artwork and music. For those hearing about it for the first time, Alto’s Odyssey is the sequel to Snowman’s Alto’s Adventure. The game will be available on the iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV and is priced at $4.99. The game’s release date was announced last week and sure enough it looks like the developers were able to release it as promised. If relaxing games with soothing music is something that you might be interested in, you will be pleased to learn that Snowman’s Alto’s Odyssey has been released.
